To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 由於上星期錢客人約咗我喺呢度見面,我只係飲咗一杯凍檸茶少少甜,佢就食咗一個雪菜肉絲湯米粉套餐早餐,佢話我知啲湯米粉入邊嘅米粉質感味道非常之好,於是乎我今朝就試吓喇!雪菜肉絲湯米粉早餐包括:雪菜肉絲湯米粉:米粉真係係質感同味道上面都非常之好,肯定不是東莞米粉,也不是超力銀絲米粉,也不是天鵝牌米粉,我都想知邊隻牌子的米粉。雪菜肉絲的雪菜不太鹹,做得幾惹味,唔錯唔錯!牛油多士拼炒滑蛋牛油多士其實係一塊薄方包去咗皮,然之後烘脆,因為質感比較乾少少,所以應該係用多士爐而並非用坦克車爐烘的,餐廳提供一件包裝的牛油仔俾客人自己搽在多士上,雖然塊多士仲係熱熱地,但係我並沒有搽牛油。炒滑蛋質素OK。餐飲凍檸茶少甜原來凍檸茶少甜唔夠少甜,下次要叫少少甜,但係紅茶味香,沒有檸檬皮的苦味,卻有檸檬,唔錯唔錯!埋單$43,貴就係貴咗啲,但係沙田廣場租金昂貴。
