To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 星期六諗住同朋友去食大閘蟹放題,見到陶源都算出名,收費唔平成5xx一位,心諗應該都唔會差得去邊。點知中伏,果時第一轉先每個口味(花雕、清蒸、鹽焗)各2隻,好快就嚟到,一開隻隻蟹無膏不特子,仲要入面係黑色。叫待應姐姐過嚟望,佢話:係咁架啦,總會有啲唔靚。你咪叫多幾隻囉!任食之嘛!好! 今轉我地每款叫4隻,心諗應該有啲好。嚟到開左4隻都仲係咁,決定開晒12隻睇,點知都仲係咁。最後叫經理過嚟,經理無解釋淨係話佢跟進。之後係廚房搵左10隻生蟹出嚟話佢親手揀比我地而家蒸比我地食(叫做塞住我地把口)。新蒸出到嚟d蟹都係無膏,只不過比上兩轉好啲因為唔係黑色。500幾蚊最後唯有用兩個壽包+幾片油立立嘅片皮鴨+一隻細鮑魚塞飽左。總括: 唔會再幫襯呢間,嬲左
