To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

記十一月中午餐入秋了,很涼,灣仔道一帶雖有著不少風味小店,然而「詹寒詹凍」,也不作他想來吃碗新派魚湯粥。同友人分別要了生拆泥孟粥及魚膘粥,老闆很建談,用料也很認真,一碗廣東粥也會用上相當的魚熬成奶濃湯底,再以珍珠米煲成綿滑白粥,冬日一碗夾雜魚鮮與米香的粥底,粥底已再加上拆肉泥孟同煲,簡單卻回味,另外叫料魚膘由於夠新鮮,不像老派粥店須加蔥加紹酒爆香去腥,就因這份對用料堅持,就算胃納再飽,每當路過也總會喝碗再趕工去。
