To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 原本都已經訂了六時半的枱,但是到了之後都要等成15分鐘才有安排入座。因為我們只得五人,不能安排可坐六人的卡位,而被安排坐四人的圓枱。那原本不是問題,可是我們點了的餸菜卻不斷送來,張枱根本不夠大放下,要喝斥職員才不會夾硬取走還未食完的餸菜來放新來的餸菜。職員的態度都很差。食物方面,普普通通,但偏貴。點了個四人餐,有芝士大蝦伊面、燒味拼盤、多寶魚、蚌浸菜膽等等,味道普普通通,不差也不突出,但埋單都要近千元,不值。
