每逢週日,筆者皆會陪同家中的小老闆到冠貿商業大廈參與課外活動,在不經意間發現大廈頂層有一間西餐廳 à la umai 。把握平日有姐姐看顧小朋友的機會,一於和太太忙裡偷閒,飽吃一餐。餐廳裝潢走高雅路線,以深色牆身及地磚作主調,店內雖沒有點點燭光,但燈光配置仍能型造浪漫氣氛,加上窗外的維港夜景,用餐環境令人滿意。翻開餐牌,除了有四道菜的晚餐供應外,亦有其他海鮮刺身生蠔等美食,腸胃未開動已食指大動。初試啼聲,還是點上一份晚餐作基礎,再另加生蠔餐湯品嚐。先來的是一小籃麵包,款式有兩款,出品熱辣辣,包香更易突出,加上外脆內軟,味道不俗,只是份量少了一點。餐廳現有優惠,惠顧晚餐可以$98享用指定生蠔三隻,由左至右分別有 Gillardeau 、 Scottish Rock 及 Fine de Claire 。 Gillardeau 型態飽滿,雖未有親嚐,估計味道不錯。 Scottish Rock 比較少食,口感脆爽,海水鹹香相對蠔味較濃。至於 Fine de Claire ,身型窄身陝長,入口滑溜,繼而爽口,雖沒 Scottish Rock 般脆,但味道更見細膩平衡。整體來說,各款生蠔皆算新鮮可
