To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

食唔到生煎包，唯有食小籠包

麥記除咗代表麥當勞之外，係北角就有一家店用「麥記美食」呢個名做到米芝蓮推介。成條街都唔多人，唯獨是「麥記」門口就大排長龍。等「麥記」嘅人可能比成條街行緊嘅人仲要多。今日唔好彩，排到嘅時候剛好賣哂生煎包，唯有轉食小籠包。小籠包整得好唔好食，好多時睇賣相就已經略知一二。首先要皮薄，隱約睇到入面，而且表面摺痕會較深。呢兩點「麥記」都做得唔錯。不過食落去發現入面唔夠湯，令到成個小籠包好乾，要點醋去彌補返。只可以話僅僅合格，希望下次會食到佢嘅生煎包。
