To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 2008/7/9晚見報紙廣告用「XX賞」積分揀「點都唔落味精系列」可換同系列指定湯款一盅或灼菜一碟。入去問收銀員原來菜只得獨沽一味生菜! 結果男朋友吃我原先揀的蝦米茶樹菇蒸雞飯(HK$27)而我另揀魚香茄子飯(HK$23),亦讓男朋友勁罵湯不好味、雞塊少兼無味,更懷疑是否雞肉...幸連飯計算的話,男朋友勉強飽肚。反而魚香茄子飯尚可,茄子算多,肉碎適量,餸汁配合得宜;但以差不多價錢來說,質素則不能與茶餐廳相比。試完今次,應該會隔一段長時間先考慮再光顧了。
