Since the cafes at lee garden 2 had been closed down, there aren’t lots of choices left around the area. I have been to Preface when the shop was in Tin Hau. The coffee was good and the cafe got a cool vibe. I paid 240 in total for the breakfast as shown. We asked for poach eggs , the waiter said “can’t be done”, the two pieces of bread tastes as ordinary as the one from Garden Bread off from the supermarket shelves. The salmon , well , just pieces of salmon off from a package. Seasoning, haha , salt and pepper.
The plating is like what the domestic helper or even the kids can do better.
As for the coffee, with that pricing, loads of other choices in CwB. The cup is very much like those used in cheap cafes or glass for drinking water.
The one and only unwise is “the place is cool and hip”. That’s all. I must say the decor is relaxing but nothing more
Service is very very standard , no greetings from the waiter , not to mention hoping he would say “good morning “ or have some kind of recommendation. Of food to us.
I will not go again! And it’s ashamed that the shop opens at the opposite of lane Crawford.
Once is enough!
$240
