星期六本來想到離島走走,但想起佛誕勢必多人,唯有乖乖斷念,改為到尖沙咀逛逛,不過要臨時在這區喝上一頓好茶,也不是那麼容易。我們搜索了一下,想起金域假日酒店的龍苑中菜廳還未曾去過,便立刻致電訂位。如果說門面的圓形拱門和鳥籠給人庭園的感覺,那店內一室大紅的裝潢,則成功營造了很強烈的喜慶感。除了大廳正中央放了滿滿的圓桌,靠牆兩邊還設了私密度較高的四人卡座,餐桌上沒有用一般的花朵作裝飾,倒是擺了一些舊式熨斗和小風扇,為整個空間多添一些懷舊的元素。雖然天花部份巧妙地利用了鏡子的反射去增加空間感,但龍苑的樓㡳低,加上沒有窗,所以難免有點侷促。店員端來的前菜小吃是炸腰果($28),基本上只要材料存放得好,油用得乾淨,炸出來便會爽脆好吃,是很純粹的一道。以前小時候媽媽最喜歡買一大堆回來,炸好後放涼入樽,這一瓶便成了我每天下課後最掛念的零食。這兒的點心款式挺多,普通酒店中菜廳的價位,我們例牌先來一籠蝦餃($68)。以酒店的賣相水平來說,並沒有特別討好,至少籠內的餃可以擺放整齊一點。入口餃皮有彈牙感,內餡的蝦仁也爽,就是有點乾巴巴的。就算明知多吃不健康,鵪鶉蛋仍是我很喜歡的食材,身處台灣夜市的話必吃鳥蛋,

就算明知多吃不健康,鵪鶉蛋仍是我很喜歡的食材,身處台灣夜市的話必吃鳥蛋,在酒樓的話就例必吃鵪鶉蛋燒賣。龍苑出品的,單看外表已經有點乾,彷彿蒸出來都沒有汁的。入口味道也淡,無論是蛋香還是肉香,都很淡薄,那顆已完全熟透的蛋黃,實在不及大公館那流心的令人難忘。

叉燒酥得意用了法式蛋皮墊底,側面看也是層層起酥的誘人模樣,嗅起來亦有濃濃牛油香,本是寄予厚望,但入口嚐到一陣羊羶味,這種羶對於不吃羊的人來說特別敏感,它甚至蓋過了叉燒的蜜香。如果這道點心叫蜜味叉燒酥,那它那乾澀的內餡真是辜負蜜味一詞。

最後一道的布拉腸粉似乎沒能挽回今天的分數,對四月來說,牛肉腸的靈魂在於芫荽香和馬蹄的爽口感,可惜這兩者都沒能體現,只嚐到馬蹄的一些渣渣,最嚴重的是牛肉帶不均勻的酸味,彷彿像添加了醋一樣。這樣令人不習慣的味道,就算是腸粉皮夠滑,也真在令人提不起勁。

尾聲本來考慮點些甜品,但款式太少,而且都是包點糕餅,沒有糖水類,所以最後選擇埋單走人。是日帳單接近$400多(折後$350多),如果持有渣打或匯豐信用咭可享八五折,也算是撈個安慰獎吧。
