To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 首先,間餐廳雖然是普通餐廳的架構,但是有高級餐廳的感覺,分量足以餵飽五歲以下的小朋友。其次,杯凍檸茶頗有創意,成功地拉開了革新港式凍檸茶的序幕,引用了空前絕後的碎檸檬技術,將一杯普通的飲品昇華到令人難以下嚥的程度。其實我知係疫情之下依然能做到屹立不倒是一件唔容易的事情,我在此亦都對那些良心企業表示respect, 但是,這間餐廳竟然在這個風頭火勢的情況下,仍能堅守有加無減的商業原則,令人能在疫情之下依然不忘逆境自強的感覺,這種用心良苦以及飽人不知餓人饑的精神十分值得其他店家學習。最後,間餐廳在溝通及團隊協調方面更是令人欽佩得五體投地,我兩個朋友order左同一個餐,其中一個叫咗雞就尼左牛,都算好彩。但是,另一個卻等候左20分鐘後依然未尼,在第一次追單後,店員更是以視而不見、聽而不聞的態度對待。無計可施之下,我朋友只能再次追單,最後,他很慶幸地能在午飯時間前有飯入肚,他不禁感歎到能在午餐時間內食完飯是一件多麼奢侈的、幸福的事情。
