To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

預約到慈山寺參學之旅,上午就順便去埋法定古蹟綠匯學院(前身為舊大埔警署),在慧食堂吃個低碳環保素食午餐,食物吃起來真的超健康,不過份量少唔太食得飽。由大埔墟站 A2 出口直出,往前行到見到條行人隧道,穿越對面再經過運頭角遊樂場,一路上都有路牌指示,完全唔難搵喎。出左公園右轉上山條斜路,行少少就見到門口。首先要在門口量體溫和登記,第一次來導賞員會約略作介紹。建築結構好簡單,古蹟面積唔算好大,可以享受下自然環境,實際可以參觀的地方唔多。接待處原本係舊警置的大廳,可以見到有個壁爐。接待處後面有個門口,出去呢條走廊,行到尾有兩間房可以參觀。展室大概係一些大埔墟之歷史。也可以進去以前警署的覊留室。舊報案室都幾多野玩。原路出返去接待處,隔離房係互助店。貨架上都幾多素食食材和產品。行去後面有片大草地,草地隔離就係素食餐廳慧食堂。有機食材原來在後面的小農場種植呢。這裡以前就是舊大埔警署的飯堂,現在由嘉道理農場經營,是一間永續理念的低碳環保素食餐廳。座位唔算好多,不過平日來吃午餐唔會太多人。餐具和廚餘要自己整理,吃完記得自己執檯。午餐任揀四款 HK$60,主食有糙米飯或紅米飯,大概一碗份量,也可以不吃飯

非常受歡迎的「果仁素丸子」,用燕麥片、葵花籽、腰果、味噌、味醂、洋車前子粉、白胡椒製作,口感幾好,略重白胡椒味,本身都好好食。奶白色的淋醬由腰果、醬油、蘋果醋、營養酵母和海鹽調製,味道不重不過勁健康。

燕麥金塊用眉豆、燕麥片、胺基酸醬油和辣椒粉製成,口感結實,完全無熱氣感覺,味道尚可。

來吃一轉都幾洗滌心靈,交通亦唔算非常唔方便,我仲響間互助店見到好多野想買添!
