We would participate in an activity once a year in Olympic City. After finishing this activity, we had an afternoon tea set here. Seemed to me that the Vietnamese counter here was not available in the Food Republic in Taikoo City, so we tried the tea sets made by it.We ordered a 香茅豬扒凍檬 and also a 番茄牛腩湯河. Both came with a drink. We ordered a 香茅豬扒凍檬 and also a 番茄牛腩湯河. Both came with a drink. There is a special arrangement about drinks in this food court. Drinks will be made by a centralized booth rather than by individual counter. It was a bit troublesome for single person to dine here as he/she may need to go to two booths to collect meal and drink. Not a single stop service. But we could order hot 紅棗蜜 or 柚子蜜 without extra charge. This is an improved service.
香茅豬扒凍檬 was very nice. It was one of the best香茅豬扒凍檬 that we had. The pork chop was not just ordinary thin one, it was rather thick and nicely fried. It had strong favour of lemongrass and tasted good and juicy. The portion was rather big for a tea set. We managed to finish it all as we both liked it a lot.
番茄牛腩湯河 was also very yummy. The tomato soup base was good and it was rather tasty and the beef brisket was tender. If you go to this Food Republic, I would strongly recommend you tried this counter, very nice and good food.
