To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日老細話佢有牛角既積分就到期所以萬歲,我地就懷住興奮又期待既心情迎接我地既LUNCH TIME啦,一到1點立即9秒9跑去牛角,等左5分鐘就可以入去啦,個和牛牛肋肉煎到5成熟好嫩牛肉味都好夠,怕大家唔夠飽叫左三個飯,泡菜豚肉飯好一般泡菜太小仲要自己加個燒汁醬先夠味,石鍋牛油粟米牛肉拌飯用黎打卡影相真係一流,味道都好夠..有小小飯焦,脆口又不失牛油既香味有種外脆內軟既FEEL,最令我驚喜既係個溫泉玉子飯和一口和牛....滿滿既紫菜再加上玉子拌飯只係睇落普通但就係最好味最直接咁刺激我既味蕾,一口和牛汁多又順滑就咁煎一下4面就食得,入口好似會溶化咁,但牛肉味一直係口腔內唔散咁...又驚喜又滿足....但最緊要係咩呀..就係老細萬歲呀...
