We had dinner after cycling for 2.5 hrs in Tong Chung last Sunday. We had booked the table at 7 o'clock but we arrived at 6:40p.m. A table was allocated to us immediately.The dishes are quite expensive. 砂鍋津白 cost $80 and a bowl of rice cost $12. However, the dishes are quite large. We two people had four things to share. very very full蘿蔔絲酥: it is very big. the hot radish was stuffed in the crispy pastry. there was some sesame at the bottom. delicious but quite heavy. 蘿蔔絲酥: it is very big. the hot radish was stuffed in the crispy pastry. there was some sesame at the bottom. delicious but quite heavy. I was already half-full after having one.
乾煸四季豆: much more than expected. quite good. the beans were not too tender. but it was quite salty to eat alone.
小籠包: each of the little bun is full of delicous meat soup. the thickness of the sking is just perfect. Not too thick and not easy to be broken.
eel noodles: the noodles were al dente and the eel tasted good.
Overall speaking, the food was quite delicious. However, the
蘿蔔絲酥 and eel noodles were quite oily. The size was rather big. Good for more people to share.
There was discount for those living in Tong Chung or working in the airport. But we had no discount.
