To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 終於到主菜了︰
北京田鴨 加 富貴雞
北京田鴨不用多作介紹吧﹗北京樓的北京田鴨不太油膩,而且每片都是肉多過皮,對我這些怕肥既人來說,的確較易接受。
但我總是想找回那些能片出原塊皮的北京田鴨老店哩﹗
剩皮,總覺得無咁飽肚的,但我找來手去好像都沒有了﹗

富貴雞其實即是平常叫旳乞兒雞,只是先用5、6層荷葉把雞包起來,外面再加上麵粉,然後放進爐裏烤。
送來時看似馬來西亞的「麵飽雞」
侍應在我們的枱旁用槌仔把「麵飽」把開,此時荷香撲鼻,直到剪開荷葉放上枱,才嘗到雞的滑溜。
當然,在香港食到的雞總是不夠國內那些有嚼勁的﹗
但味道真的好啊﹗
這雞是要提早預訂的﹗要留意啊﹗
而且,每次點這菜,餐廳都會送上一個小形的金屬鎚仔作紀念,像是自己把麵飽「打」開似的﹗

主菜後還有皮薄多汁的小籠飽,這上海菜才算是一氣呵成哩﹗
北京的小籠飽一向都有水準,高湯做得夠味,肉餡亦彈牙,像家裏我們自己打的肉餅一樣。

四人餐還包括一碟青菜,供我們中和一下。
飯後還有生果及糖水奉上,令晚餐得以「圓滿」哩﹗

所謂「齊齊整整」的除夕飯,當然要顧及我家既小B啦﹗所以我哋都請侍應替我們把田鴨彀打包好,以便回家讓小B品嘗。
回家發現,剛才的田鴨片得很好,差不多所有的皮都片了出來。
因為我們平時把其他餐廳的鴨彀帶回家時都發現鴨脾及鴨翼是原封不動,以便餐廳可以留番「循環再用」的哩﹗

食飯除了食食物,還有服務及氣氛。
北京樓的侍應十分細心,及幫忙。
而且經常有師傅給人客表演拉麵,逗得周圍的小朋友十分開心,加上窗外的幻彩匯香江,我們今年的除夕晚飯的確十分開心哩﹗
