Instead of the pork belly bao that everyone had in their visit, we had teriyaki chicken bao! although it is not the bao that it’s most well-known for, it still didn’t disappoint! the crispy fried chicken had the perfect amount of oil absorbed into its skin and the cucumber salad balanced the oiliness just right! the cucumber salad is slightly sweet and the savoury stood out most! just forget about the pork belly, go with teriyaki chicken instead! i’m sure it won’t let you down!

Yes, we all know we should have bao at Little Bao but why can’t we give fried chicken a try too? Just like the teriyaki chicken bao, the freshly friend chicken had the perfect crispy skin with some really moist and tender meat. the szechuan seasoning was just right for spicy lovers like me! the pickles played their role and did an excellent work in balancing out the oiliness! this dish was surprising one of the best on the table!
