Finally visited this highly acclaimed restaurant of the famous Chef 🔥 It was in a small alley that you would not notice even. It totally matches with their name “Neighborhood”! The food here is hearty and definitely unique that you can hardly find in other place. I love the flavour profile here. It’s definitely noting like your daily salad. I couldn’t even tell many of the greens and flowers used here and the outcome was so good. The harmony was no accident but specially designed 👍🏼

It was the daily special but it was quite disappointing that the razor clams was not in very good quality and got sands in it. The sauce was buttery but not enough seasoning 🙁

It looked really ordinary but indeed very delicious. I especially love the truffle here not for its luxuriousness but for its ability to blend in with other vegetables☺️But at the same time, Chef managed to let its amazing aroma shine. Just love this combo and I guess this is what diners crave for here: uniqueness and deliciousness. Honestly, this is something you could not find in hotel fine dining table😍

I love this pasta a lot😍 The ragu was intensely flavoured and the special shape pasta was just the perfect carrier for the amazing sauce. It’s perhaps the only place using a fish tripes ragu in HK, not even in Testina. Just wish more of it since my craving was definitely not fixed😉
𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 / 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀 / 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺
The most famous item here🥇 It was first baked in salt and unwrapped in front of you. It’s totally a show stopper and I enjoyed the explanation of the whole story behind. The chicken got some perfect saltiness and the skin was to die for 🤤 But the meat was not as tender as expected. The morel and yellow wine based rice was really satisfying and I think I can really eat whole plate of it alone. The griblets were amazing too if you love offals. But in the heated “chicken game” in HK, I would perhaps prefer other counterparts.
𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁
Its charming presentation did light up my expectation. It was essentially a cubed French toast and I appreciated its frying skill. The truffle did elevate it too. But I personally didn’t enjoy the raw egg yolk inside.

One of my favourite dessert Apple TTTT. But this one was a bit too sweet for my liking.

It was quite chewy and got lengthy vanilla and charred flavour. A small one is definitely not enough 😆
Their offering is totally unique and innovative, and it’s what we definitely need more of in HK. But it’s hit and miss to me. Considering the price and the fame, I did expect something more honestly. That said, I would still recommend them for a try 🔥
