During the whole CNY Holidays, it's non stop eating with different family visits. I have always told my gweilo friends that CNY is nothing like Christmas, very boring, eating the same dishes every day. Braised Beef Cheeks: Beef is very tenderGrilled Scallops: Big size, so tasty with the deep fried garlic
Whole Roasted Suckling Pig: Most of the skin is crispy enough so that u wont get the greasy feeling. Meat is juicy.
Tiger Prawn Fritters: Prawn is my favourite. The batter is thin enough, goes well with the mustard sauce.
We ordered the fish fillet to fill ourselves up. I like the cucumber salad, very light and fresh. Quite confused with the German doughy snacks on the side. Fish is well seasoned and cooked perfectly to remain moist.
We ordered two mocktails. Berries one is very fresh and with a minty flavour, best go with oily food or meaty food.This is the first German meal I have with no beers and sausages. Isnt it weird? LOL
