To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 到總公司開會,老闆係潮州人,請食飯一定訂「潮江春」…,唉!重次次都係叫$198四位用的「午市商務套餐」。幸好,美心集團的出品,有一定水準,差極有限。所以,都無所謂。加上,每次都係老闆請;所以,就更加無意見。每次老闆都一定點同樣的食物:點心:蝦餃、迷你炸春卷小菜:彩虹蝦仁、欖仁蒸魚柳炒粉麵飯:潮式炒麵甜品:定左係「紅豆糕」,別無他選!環境:坐得舒適,光猛開揚,看著維港,聽著老闆的風趣話題,算係咁啦!評語:點心:蝦餃大大粒,足料。春卷,火路剛好。可以接受。小菜:「彩虹蝦仁」是以一個由粉絲炸出來的「雀巢」盛載,相當可口。「欖仁蒸魚柳」的魚肉頗新鮮,似乎係石班,相當滑和香口。幾好。潮式炒麵:是以潮式幼粉棵條作,炒得幾好,不油膩。紅豆糕:跟一般酒樓點心無分別,可以不評!最後,必定有杯潮州功夫茶,好濃,我每次都唔飲,益埋我老闆。註:午市食客多為附近寫字樓員工,OK啦!
