One of my Japanese colleagues planned to bring me to one of his favourite hangouts for dinner, which is Aijitomi. He told me that this restaurant reminded him of Japan, as all staff are Japanese and majority of the customers were Japanese as well. It was located at Tang Lung Street, couple of minutes walk from Causeway Bay MTR. Calpis water - It was cool and refreshing, sweet and sour as well.
Spaghetti with cream sauce - This was one of the best pasta i have tasted recently. Pasta was smooth and chewy, sauce was very creamy and flavourful, not overly heavy on the stomach.
Osaka style pork meat ball with melting cheese - This was one of their signature dishes as i could see it appearing on almost every table. The meat ball was soft and juicy, with the BBQ sauce complimenting nicely. Cheese taste was strong too.
The waiter served us complimentary dessert, which was a plate of marshmallow with chocolate sauce. It was grilled till the outside was crispy and inside was still soft and sticky. It was sweet as well, and the chocolate sauce was sweet and strong in flavour too.
