Decided to try out this new bar and restaurant in TST for a date night and we absolutely loved it! The service was amazing and the staff were very friendly!The choices on the menu are very unique and we hadn’t seen anything similar before. Aside from the typical pasta/pizza dishes, they also had this ‘half-cooked tuna with pumpkin’ dish that was really innovative. We didn’t know what to pick and they asked us what we usually prefer and gave us personalized recommendations based on our tastes! Ev
The choices on the menu are very unique and we hadn’t seen anything similar before. Aside from the typical pasta/pizza dishes, they also had this ‘half-cooked tuna with pumpkin’ dish that was really innovative.
We didn’t know what to pick and they asked us what we usually prefer and gave us personalized recommendations based on our tastes! Everything we had substantial, but these dishes were especially good:
1. Starter - Avocado & crab
- this was actually surprisingly filling and the freshness seawater taste was an excellent complement to the chunky guacamole-like avocado
2. Main - Half-seared tuna with pumpkin
- Ok, I know you must think this sounds so weird but it turned out to be my favorite dish! The cooked sides of the tuna contrasted well with the soft raw interior, and any kind of ‘sour’ fish smell had been skilledly removed. The pumpkin was sweet and balanced out the heaviness of the tuna!
3. Alcoholic Drinks
- I forgot the name of the drinks but I’ll have a picture of them! (I believe they were the 2nd and 3rd item on the drinks menu). Absolutely loved the unconventional drinks, especially the one with oolong tea added, which was aromatic and complemented the citrus and alcohol!
- This is my no.1 recommendation if you had to come here for a chilled drink!
Overall, great romantic atmosphere, and very conveniently located. Excellent food for a bar restaurant and would definitely come back again for our next date!
