Since I cut my nail when I was peeling my beetroots in the morning, I started this bumpy day with things bugging or disappointing me happening now and then. So after I finally got off, I decided to come here to chill out a little bit.There are just a handful of Shanghaiese restaurants I know and go to often. There are just a handful of Shanghaiese restaurants I know and go to often. Even these few are not 100% Shanghaiese, as they also serve local and Szechuan dishes. The dining room belongs to those better ones. Generally speaking, dishes are well seasoned, ingredients are fresh, portions are reasonable and service is consistent.
Tonight I had two of my usual which are the assorted vegetables (including bell peppers, black fungus and carrots) with bean curd and stir fried Chinese kales with garlic. They are consistently good as always which made me very satisfied.
