To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 琴晚同老豆慶祝生日,一家人下午6:30到酒樓,之後叫左個八人套餐。頭盤3小碟,好好味,尤其是水晶肴肉,海蜇頭都ok,醉雞則酒味淡左少少,但味道尚可。京爆明蝦球,我屋企人唔多吃,少少酸辣味,不過汁茨傑左dd。蟹肉翅都ok,都見到有少少粗身魚翅,但是否真翅就唔知道lu。北京填鴨,完全係成個餐最主要既餸,味道好,唯是略唔夠熱,可能係人太多,片唔切。糟溜魚片,我無吃,見到汁茨太多,唔想食,但屋企人就話d魚片都幾滑。北菇扒雙蔬,無特別,都係汁茨太多,唔多想食,但都要食,因為差不多係唯一既蔬菜類。炆麵,有d失望,自為係以前人手的拉麵,點知是現成買回來用幼身型長麵條,味道尚可。我地見只有生果盤,無其他甜品,所以加左個拔絲蘋果,都好味既…整體ok,但如果你問我雙比尖沙咀或中環果兩間主店,我prefer尖沙咀,大廚手勢/水準好似好d平均d....
