My birthday and it was always an excuse for cake. So boyfriend and I went to Kokoni as I was ... well .. cake.Located in Sham Shui Po, the place wasn't too busy on a weekday afternoon.The cafe has a light wood design. There is outdoor seating. Indoor has seats facing the long barista bar.Menu is in English, Japanese and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. The menu is quite extensive. They seem to have all sorts of items to eat along with various types of drinks.They even had a seasonal menu

They even had a seasonal menu that was from Easter.
I had a latte ($40). The latte art was pretty. But the coffee was mediocre and a bit too bitter for my liking.
Originally I came here for the matcha roll cake but it was sold out. So, I opted for the Hojicha Roll Cake ($60). The cake was actually quite good. The cake was moist and soft. The cream was soft with a light taste of the tea. But for the price, we felt it was a bit over priced.
The place is nice looking but the coffee was mediocre. The cake was good but not that much value for money. Most likely won't be back.
