First of all, let me remind all of you that it is hard to get a table at lunch here during the weekdays without calling in to make a reservation at least 2 days ahead of time. If you are unable to get a reservation, you can try your luck and get a table by the bar, which is still quite enjoyable as you get to people-watch and eat at the same time! Customers have the option of choosing the 3-course set lunch option ($165) or ordering from the a-la-carte lunch menu. I decided to try the lunch option while my dining partner settled for the a-la-carte menu.
1. Steak sandwich (a-la-carte menu)
2. Beer battered cod and chips (a-la-carte menu)
3. Hangar steak (set menu)
This is a perfect place to come to if you are looking for a casual lunch at a comfortable place away from the hustle and bustle of Taikoo Place. Being part of the Pressroom Group, their quality of food mirrors the type of standards they have in their other successful restaurants. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something different from the local eats around the area!
