I got to the airport a little too early so I had plenty of time to kill. I wandered from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 to see what I could find to eat, but decided that a cup of coffee would be perfect for my 11 hr flight. Environment & Hygiene:It was quite busy, and for some reason SUPER HOT! The fact that I was sitting underneath the large TV screen with a hot cup of coffee didn`t help at all. I was melting. Although I wasn`t too comfortable, I liked how relaxing and clean the place was it, so I`m sure without the heat, it`d be awonderful place to pass some time.
Service:
Both the staff that took my order and made my coffee were polite and friendly. Thank you. Taste & Value:
I had wanted to try the 8 oz barista`s flat white, but I saw that for $7 more, I could get a raisin scone and a 12 oz Latte ($38), so I decided on this afternoon tea set instead. The scone was pretty big for what it cost. They had heated it up for me, and had given me butter and blueberry jam. The scone was rather dry, and needed to be moistened with the jam. As for the latte, it had beautiful latte art. It was also probably one of the hottest cup of latte I have ever had, so I think the milk was probably over 70 degrees. Also, the milk was a little too foamy. However, it was still a decent latte. I was happy with my order. Final Verdict:
I think when I return in 3 weeks, I will stop by and grab myself a flat white just to compare.
