We found this place to celebrate our friend's bday. This small restaurant actually is perfect for a small party or event, also good for a group of people to get together. It is easy to find them as their authentic oriental decoration will grab your attention when you pass by. The tea pot, cutlery, furniture and the paintings on the wall make the beauty of the food to shine.

We tried a few new dishes. Firstly we had Drunk Chicken and Happy Garden (gluten and fungus – what a funny name) as appetisers. The drunk chicken is succulent with the rich flavour of rice wine.
We reserved a Beggar’s chicken which was wrapped with lotus leaf and mud. They showed us the chicken with mud first . then we broke it with a hammer. The chicken smelt so good. I was quite pleased with the stuffing inside too.
They have the best gigot I have ever tried. The crunchy textures and special favour which is to die for!
Mandarin fish was full of traditional savoury taste which is my favour.
Ma Po Tofu is another typical Sichuan dish we have tried. Personally I can take spicier.
Fried Kale is a must have vegetarian dish. The egg yolk lends an attractive golden color to this crunchy veg.
I was told that their soup-filled dumpling were hand made. The juicy buns looked great and tasted not bad.
They offered a few dessert but we went with Caramelised Sweet Potatoes. We were very impressed. It was a masterpiece of art.
I have to thank them for our special treat. They gave us a surprising birthday gift -- Souffle Egg White Balls with Red Bean Paste for FREE!!! They looked like doughnuts filled with red bean.
Surprise kept coming. While we asked for the bill, we were given a little treasure chest. The waitress opened it and took out the bill. We just laughed and thought it was a birthday gift for our bday star!
We were very happy with the food. To me, this is an unforgettable dining experience. It was a feast for stomach as well as the eyes.
