Upon hearing the recommendation from a gweilo friend, we went to this small outlet to try the burrito. We have asked the girl at the cashier of her recommendation, but she only murmured a few words that we could hardly hear. The burrito itself was good, well-stuffed with the ingredients we chose. However, just when we were waiting for the food, we saw a notice hanging on the wall which was opposite to the cashier and kitchen (meaning that customers can barely notice it if they dun turn their heads around), saying that there was a grab-and-go combo (burrito of the day plus drink/taco chips) which cost $68. We asked the girl what was the burrito of the day, and she told us that it’s Asian beef. At that moment, we felt being cheated, because she should have told us that the Asian beef was cheaper with a combo set when we asked her about the difference between two beef choices. When we further asked her whether we could change our choice, she simply gave us a shrug.

Not that we are not able to afford the $20 difference, but the response of the girl gave us a bad impression on the shop, and the way they put up the notice somehow made us feel that they did not want customers to know there was a combo offer. We dun think we will come again.
