Apple muffinThis was a rather crumbly muffin which was not that moist, but it had a good apple flavour, and there was a small saucy centre of apples. I tend not to like the pairing of chocolate and any kind of fruit, but this orange mocha was quite enjoyable. The orange taste was subtle, alongside the stronger mocha, but it still managed to make an overall difference to the drink. However, as I find with most of McCafe’s iced drinks (caramel latte, in particular), it was too sweet for me. I find this amazing considering the amount of ice they put in the cup – roughly half the cup is filled with ice cubes. It’s also no wonder that I find the large size to be only just enough, and not large at all.

Again, I was surprised that I could taste both the orange and the chocolate. And, it had the crunch of coconut shavings that I love about lamingtons. Also, unlike the drinks, it wasn’t overly sweet. But then again, this may be because its size was really quite small, and you basically finish it in a few bites.
