The resteraunt was packed at 9pm on a Friday night, and, having booked a table, the three of us were promptly seated on the first floor.
Staff were polite and efficient.
The twelve appetizers that arrived were almost a meal in themselves.
We started with the raw beef, which was served icy cold, but when had reached room temperature was great in taste and texture. The beef rib stew was subtly spiced and the beef was excelant quality.. Glass noodles with mushroom and the fried dumplings were well prepared although the dumplings were a little too oily.
The chicken soup was a big let down. A whole chicken is cut into the hot soup at the table, but the meat was overcooked and the soup was almost flavourless with no spice or meat taste.
With a bottle of Korean "wine" and one ice cold Hite beer the bill was $750 which is pretty good for this quality of food.
Am looking forward to going back.
