Dining in Allegretto Café… It’s just grand opening for a week or 2. Last Saturday, a friend arrived by boat in China Hong Kong City around 11:00AM. 4 of us met up there and dined in this nice chilled-out Café. It is located at Promenade level of Tower 3 in China Hong Kong City above the busy mall, where most likely you may miss. They know how to pull an espresso shot and have free Wi-Fi. It is a perfect spot in West Kowloon for intimate coffee and a pleasant place to meet up people. Besides delicious coffee, tasty cake and healthy & yummy sandwiches can’t be missed. Allegretto takes care of people who are either sugar concern or health conscious.
Beautiful latte art on every single coffee is being served. I am sure if I can get a cup like this every day, it will put a smile on my face regardless of how bad my day is.
I ordered the killer shot of espresso with velvety smooth froth milk on top – cappuccino, which came with a complementary cookie. I am not a dessert lover; thus the cookie was a bit sweet to me. Surprisingly, with a little bite on the cookie while I was sipping my coffee, the sweet, sweet cookie brought out the unexpected amazing coffee flavor. The effect is similar to roast coffee a little longer in order to bring out more of the flavor. It could be why Allegretto serves everyone with a complementary cookie for a coffee.
Love dessert? Be sure to try this Torta Nocciola. Sweet is not my thing but I can’t deny that it is good, and recommend to everyone.
We also ordered two sets of sandwiches. I like the one with the toast done on one side (golden brown on top) – Yummy! I wasn’t hungry but I couldn’t resist eating the whole piece.
Falling in love with their quality coffee, I ordered an extra one, a 4-layer Vanilla Latte Macchiato. The taste was richer than my 1st cappuccino. But my friend recommends the hazelnut flavor. It was also good to watch the showcase by the barista to prepare my macchiato at the coffee bar & counter.Oh, no, too much coffee! How was I going to sleep? My friend ordered me a Chamomile Herbal Tea. It was also amazing good. As a matter of fact, I had a good night sleep. I am not sure whether it is the effect by this clinically proven herbal tea or its roasting time long enough to deplete the natural caffeine sources in the beans that results in less caffeine.

If you love Starbuck, you should give a try at Allegretto, a great place to get some work or catch up with people over coffee and a small meal.
