Best avocado sea urchin pasta and mushroom soup I've ever had was at Zecond hands down!!! My family and I ordered the 3-course set menu this afternoon and we were NOT disappointed. My family and I ordered the 3-course set menu this afternoon and we were NOT disappointed. The mushroom soup was super creamy and rich! I guess the chef must have mixed different types of mushrooms in the soup that made the flavour really pop. We also ordered the crabmeat pizza for a starter and we LOVE it! It has the perfect light crispy base - my taste buds were in paradise (no joke considering that some pizzas that I had before had this soggy base)! For the main dish, I ordered the avocado sea urchin pasta and I was impressed by how the urchin sauce went so well with the avocado chunks. The portion is really generous as well. For an adventurous foodie like me, I went for the daily dessert - Affogato al Caffe! The staff recommended that I get the rose latte as my drink and I was glad that I got it! Be prepared to get a milk mustache!
The staff is very friendly and the decor is trendy and chic! As there were so many of us, we occupied the entire upper floor! It's like having this little private space all for ourselves!
If you are in the mood for good pasta and soup, this IS the place that you should not miss!!!!
