I've been to Three Virtues previously in part of a group but this was my first solo dining experience. As I was on my own and only seeking a light dinner I ordered a soup with cabbage, mushroom and sausage.

The restaurant was really busy, almost full but I got seated straight away and despite the high volume of customers the staff were attentive enough to notice my poor waiter-hailing technique.

The soup came promptly and the portion was generous, plenty of noodles, cabbage and veggie sausage. The sausage was a lot smokier than I had anticipated (I can't remember if the menu listed it as smoked or not but then I was reading the English menu, not the Chinese one so there may be some difference).

I had hoped that I'd be able to order some snacks or a dessert too but the soup was filling enough on its own. I guess I will have to go back again.
