Went to this restaurant the other night and it was an enjoyable experience. The first thing you notice when you enter this restaurant is that the waiters are all senior citizens, as this restaurant has a policy of employing them. The management definately deserve a pat on the back for this idea, as I think the waiters were definately one of the best parts of the whole nights experience. They were friendly, attentive and gave plenty of recomendations when it came to choosing the food, definately
On to the food. The restaurant is French themed but with a few Italian influences thrown in for good measure. Me and my partner ordered goose liver with angel hair pasta in a cream sauce and also the angus steak. We also ordered the soup, salad and drinks set too with the main courses. The soup was decent enough with a choice of onion or italian veg soup, but the best part about the soup was definately the herb crusted foccacia bread that you get with the soups. It was very delicious!! The salad was ok with a mix of organic salad leaves and salmon with a balsamic dressing. The main courses were also decently executed, although they didn't have that 'wow' factor, they were still enjoyable. For dessert, we shared a plate of figs with vanilla ice-cream, which again was enjoyable.
The price of whole meal was around $500, which is ok. Definately worth another visit.
