I went all the way to North Point from Tuen Mun with one of my colleagues just to relive the memories I'd once had when I was in Canada. The place itself is fairly typical Canadian style restaurant, with the big chalk board menu up top. It felt like I was in Canada again! I ordered a burger and most importantly "Poutine!" I'd been craving for Poutine for sometimes now. A lot of Canadian Restaurants had gone out for business in Hong Kong. I also ordered a set of 6 Buffalo Chicken Wings for my colleague to try. It came to some HKD 180 plus dollars, It may be rather expensive for some Hong Kong people. It worked out to about CDN 30 dollars which was what I used to pay for a meal like this back in Canada, although the portion itself is significantly smaller. The burger was juicy, I had all the continments put in the burger, relish, tomatoes, lettuce, this was how I liked it back then. The poutine was sorta right on the money, but I think back in Canada, they would've used "Cheese Curd", but in Hong Kong, they used Mozarella Cheese instead, but it did the trick none the less. My colleague also commented that he enjoyed the Chicken Wings, which was good because I dragged him all the way to North Point from Tsuen Wan. Anyway, this is a great experience, it brought back a lot of memories.
