Late lunch, we decided to try this cha chan teng as we often see it very busy at night. I had the soy sauce chicken leg with fruit salad ($40). The mariande was pretty good but the meat was a bit dry in some parts. The fruit salad was very tangy and the right amount of mayo and a good variety of canned fruit. Interesting they added some sliced tomatoes. Portion was a bit small though.
Boyfriend had the Hokkien Fried Rice ($45). This was not that good. The sauce was a bit bland. It did have a variety of seafood other than shrimp. The rice was a bit over cooked and soggy so with the addition of the sauce, it made it more soggy.
The food was ok. Not sure why so many people line up to eat here as there are better options around.
