I heard of Little Bao very long ago since the opening of its Central branch. It happened that a friend of mine suggested this for a dinner meet-up tonight, so I'm trying it out the first time! Two of us ordered Chinese-style rice noodle rolls in Mac n Cheese style, two Pork Belly Bao and two dessert baos. The Chinese-style Mac n Cheese is with good but not excessive amount of cheese, making it just right and not too oily. The crisp on top is an add-on. Good try.I love the Pork Belly Bao. The bao

I love the Pork Belly Bao. The bao is soft. The slow braised pork belly is not too fatty and with great flavour. The leek & shiso red onion salad and sesame dressing add layers to the taste.
There're two ice-cream flavours for dessert baos - green tea ice-cream with condensed milk and salt ice-cream with caramel. We ordered both to share. Its small size is a bit out of expectation. The dessert bao is different from the main dish bao. It's deep-fried, like the deep-fried Chinese-style bun. The ice-cream tastes like heaven though! I love both flavours.
I'm happy with the food and service overall, but the price is a bit on the high side.
Thank you my dear friend for the dinner!
