Tiew Ruea Tor Charm on Jaffe Road recently tempted my taste buds with their lunch set for two. The star of the show was undoubtedly the noodles. The broth was rich and flavorful, making each slurp a delicious experience. While the noodles were a hit, the drink presentation left me scratching my head. The drinks arrived in a bowl, which felt a bit gimmicky. I'm not sure if they were aiming for a cool or traditional vibe, but it didn't quite land for me.
The set also included a food platter, but I'm not convinced it's worth the extra cost. It might be a better strategy to order the noodles and drinks separately and only get the platter if you're really craving it. The set didn't seem to offer much in terms of value for money.
Despite the minor hiccup with the drink presentation and the questionable value of the set, the noodles are definitely worth a try. I've heard they also offer an all-you-can-eat skewer option, and I'm definitely planning to check that out on my next visit.
