In this particular weekend noon, I feel like going to this place to enjoy myself under a ho pot of tea and self reading.
Tea -ed was located at San Po Kong, quite isolated as it was not near any MTR station. Even when i took a bus there which was more convenient, it took me around 10 to 15 minutes to locate this place. It was situated inside an industrial building and even upon reaching the floor, it does not look like a cafe from outside.

As they specialized in tea, the menu was limited to mostly tea. Besides tea, they offer gelato, light food and waffle as well. They do sell tea tins and tea sets as well, for people looking to give it as a gifts too.

The whole environment was very relaxing and was a good getaway from the hectic lifestyle of mainstream Hong Kongers. There was sofa and bench table for customers to chat their time away and they do provide workshop and rental service for their gelato too.

As there were not much customers during weekend, the person in charge even took his time off to explain the whole procedure of drinking a tea. I choose green tea from the dragon well series. he explained that the temperature of the water should be kept at 85 to 90 degree celsius so as not to spoil the tea leaves. After 10 to 15 secs later, i should transfer the tea from the tea pot to a glass pot. The reason was to keep the tea consistent throughout in terms of taste and quality. The tea was very refreshing with a sweet after taste.

French bun with parma ham - For a place known for tea, I was quite surprised that their bun was of high standard. The bun was toasted till soft and crispy and the parma ham was light on the palate. it compliment nicely with the tea and justified my healthy lunch.

Gelato on waffle - As a chocolate lover, I resist the chance to choose chocolate flavour as it was the perfect chance for me to try tea flavour ice cream. I choose mix ripe & raw puerh and Tie Guan Yin as my ice cream. The serving was very generous and the ice cream does not melt easily even after awhile. Both flavour have a very strong tea taste with a slight bits of sweetness. Waffle was soft, but not crispy enough though.
