Menu is in English and Chinese.  There is no 10% service charge. What they offer are Japanese meal sets. Everything from curry rice to beef rice bowls to udon. Sets all include three mini appetizers, miso soup and a set drink with options to upgrade. Ordering is by checking off a piece of paper. You pay on your way out.

Boyfriend and I both added $3 to upgrade our drinks. These were Japanese canned drinks.

I had the cutlet shrimp flat noodles in dashi soup ($68). The appetizers were seaweed, marinaded clam meat and a store bought cream puff. These were ok. The shrimp was fried very well. Meat was firm and fresh while the coating was crunchy and not too thick. It also didn't feel oily at all. The noodles were really good. They were wide and flat. Super smooth and easy to slurp up. The dashi soup was flavorful. There was a perfectly cooked egg as well.

The miso soup was ok. Nothing particularly special but at least it didn't taste like water and miso paste.

Boyfriend had the rice with egg, onion and pork chop ($58). He noted not enough sauce but it tasted delicious. The pork chop coating still had a crunch to it. There was plenty of onion and the egg was very savory.

The food looked presentable and not sloppy. It seemed the people working here really put an effort to making thingfs look nice. The food tasted delicious. Would definitely be back.
