Just had a quick lunch at this place. Tried their cold udon with poached egg and deep fried baby 池魚. The deep fried fishes were nicely done (cripsy and hot), and not oily at all, and would have made a perfect match with a glass of ice-cold beer (pity I could not have one as I need to work on Sat ). ). The udon was also not bad - I could see that they really made an effort to make it "tangy", so much so that at times I thought it was perhaps a little bit undercooked to my taste; and the poached egg was cooked just right. On the other hand, I wished that both the udon and the dipping sauce could be more properly chilled before served (it was at most only "cool" but certainly not "cold"), and it would have been even nicer if they could include more ingredients in the dish
... ... but anyway, it was pretty ok and a perfect antidote for the hot weather. Price included a drink as well. Not a bad place to have lunch, will probably visit again to try the other stuff.
