Treehouse is a breath of fresh air in the Hong Kong dining scene. The restaurant boasts a modern and inviting design, with a strong emphasis on sustainability.  The use of separate waste bins for food and non-recyclable materials is a welcome sight, and the friendly staff, while not all fluent in Cantonese, were incredibly approachable and helpful. Ordering via kiosks and cleaning up your own tray may seem unconventional, but it adds to the unique and efficient atmosphere. Tundra Burger The food

Tundra Burger
The food is the real star of the show. The Tundra Burger is a must-try.  The pumpkin patty is a revelation – juicy, flavorful, and surprisingly satisfying, even for a meat lover like myself. The rest of the burger is vegan (except for the cheese, which they offer a vegan option for), making it a truly impressive creation. It was not too saucy neither which makes it a lot more lighter comparing to a typical burger.

Organic coffee
My ice americano was refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. The use of organic beans further reinforces Treehouse's commitment to sustainability.

Salad bowl
The salad bowl is a colorful and healthy delight. Packed with a variety of fresh vegetables, pumpkin, and avocado, it's a feast for the eyes and the stomach. The accompanying sauce is a perfect complement - no doubt makes the salad a less bit dry.

The soup of the day
The soup of the day was a pleasant surprise.  While I couldn't pinpoint the exact ingredients, it had a rich, earthy flavor reminiscent of mushroom soup. It was a quality soup that wouldn't be out of place in a high-end restaurant. it comes with breadchips on top. While enjoyable, some could opt it out if they just want the soup.

Cookie
The cookie was a sweet ending to the meal. It was rich and nutty, though a bit on the sweet side.

Overall, Treehouse exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, innovative, and surprisingly satisfying. The restaurant's commitment to sustainability, its focus on quality ingredients, and its unique ordering system make it a standout in the vegan dining scene. If more restaurants like Treehouse existed, I wouldn't hesitate to embrace a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle, at least for a while.
