I have always wanted to try this place for the famous toast but KT is such a crappy area. There are so many people at any damn time of the day and week.
Walking there from the MTR exit is a battle with people and carts on a narrow road with cars and trucks skimming by at close distance.
This is shop is easily missed because there isn't a name or anything displayed and it is really old and shabby.
Inside, it is cramped and noisy but Thankfully the staff were patient and nice as the menu is a bit complicated.
Fortunately, I knew exactly what I wanted so ordered the toast and the pan fried vermicelli.
Also had the lemon with orange juice which is just lemon slices with FANTA and not OJ.
The toast was as good as expected but too salty.

If you look closely, it is actually three slices of toast, the one on the outer side is actually a thin slice of crisp toast with butter in between.
It makes you wonder how an earth they could slice the bread that thin and then toasting it, placing it on top without breaking.
The other dish was also good, there was lots of beef tendon in that bowl which was soft and tasty with a hint of Sichuan spices that went well with the crispy egg coated vermicelli, again it was super salty.
The beef tasted like it had been marinated for years to be that flavourful yet you could still taste it was fresh.

Overall the food was ok but I am not sure if it was overly salty on my visit or it is consistently salty everyday.
