I called up at 2:15 pm to order lunch and found to my disappointment all pasta gone. I have tried their pasta for the past two days. Outstanding! The Heart Cafe lady on the phone must have noticed how utterly unhappy I was. I told them that they made the best Pasta around town. Of course I have not tried all pastas around town, but it is no exaggeration that theirs is the best I know.

I certainly didn't mind.
The extra preparation did not take long. In 15 minutes, my set lunch arrived. Okay, okay, the restaurant is on ground floor and our shop is on 2/F. But I still found it impressive that everything arrived steaming hot.

The Spirali was as good as their spaghetti, which I already knew. The beef brisket was tender and succulent, the curry was full of aroma. I have tried their cream sauce and found it unbeatable: their cream soup is just as fine and creamy. The tea is Lipton and they do not save on cream. The main dish was substantial enough for me to save a scoop for my Doggie as snack.
And all this for only 38 dollars. You even save $3 if you go pick it up yourself. What a bargain!
But what impressed me most is their flexibility and readiness to serve. Instead of sticking to a plain 'sorry-all-sold-out' reply, they treated me to a 'we-will-made-it-specially-for-you' answer.
HEART Cafe indeed! Will certainly call again or look in to enjoy my meal in this cosy corner.
