My friends and I dined at Teddy's last Saturday. The place isn't really easy to find, but I must say, it definitely worth the effort.For appetizers, we had escargots and salad, which were nice.We had grilled lamb chops, beef tenderloin & foie gras, pork loin and pumpkin risotto for mains. The lamb chops were simply excellent! The herbs disguised the smell of lamb without overpowering it, and brought out the lamb's flavour. The lamb chops were simply excellent! The herbs disguised the smell of lamb without overpowering it, and brought out the lamb's flavour. Highly recommended!
Beef tenderloin & foi gras - the beef part was a bit of let down as it was slightly overcooked but the foi gras was the saving grace. The foie gras was nicely done - crispy on the outside and tender inside; cooked just right so that it didn't lose its flavour. If it wasn't for the beef, I would have given a 5 for taste.
Pork loin, it's nice but didn't stand out. Maybe I'm just not a pork person!!
Pumpkin risotto was very very good. It was creamy with a rich pumpkin flavour (obviously). Just tasty!!
Dessert was chocolate pudding and I love it (or I'm just a chocoholic)! The outside was soft and tender and the filling was creamy and, most importantly, not as sweet as some other restaurants.
Service was good. Waiters were friendly. Nice environment. We had a wonderful evening and I really enjoyed this dining experience!!
