My friend and I came to this restaurant at around 2pm. There was a queue. We waited for about 15 mins. Very quick in terms of turnover because of the size of this restaurant. The restaurant is new and spacious with wide tables. This is already a plus! U can sit and chat comfortably. This was our first time dining in here. This was our first time dining in here. We came here purposely for the tonkatsu (fried pork chops). We added fried side dishes. It was nice to see that there are the options to have more veggies or change cabbage to salad. Also there are options for more sauce, less sauce, more rice, less rice...etc.
For the price of $100, you get steamed egg, miso soup, rice and fried pork chop with cabbage/ salad. The bread crumbs stick to the cutlet so well. The exterior was super crunchy yet the meat was so juicy and flavourful. It was spectacular! I love it very much. The same goes for the fried prawns and oysters. They had the same crispy bread crumb crust. The oysters were plump and the prawns were fresh. Also a must-have.
The sashimi is ok. Not a must-have.
I will definitely come back for the tonkatsu and fried seafood. REALLY REALLY DELICIOUS.
