I recently visited Devil's Advocate for lunch and ordered their lunch set which included an appetizer, main course, drink and dessert. My main course was the classic fish and chips. My main course was the classic fish and chips. The fish was cooked well enough but a bit bland in flavoring. The chips (fries) were crispy on the outside but soggy inside, which was disappointing. The portion was huge though.

For my drink, I had an iced lemon tea which was freshly brewed and refreshing. My dessert was a brownie which was dense and fudgy but nothing special. It did the job of being sweet to finish the meal.

Overall, the food at Devil's Advocate was acceptable but pretty run-of-the-mill. Nothing really stood out as high quality or memorable. The lunch set was a decent deal for the price but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend the restaurant. The service was attentive enough. If you're just looking for a basic, affordable lunch near the office, Devil's Advocate would fit the bill but don't expect to be wowed by the cuisine.
