Boyfriend and I ordered this: an apple tarte tatin. Well, it's not like the French one at all as it wasn't as gooey and caramelized. The apples could have used a bit more baking as they were still on the crisp side. It wasn't too sweet. It came with a scoop of coffee ice cream which was pretty good. The ice cream was smooth and had a nice taste of coffee. However, they didn't use a short crust pastry at all. They used some strange cookie underneath. This was bizarre.

Agnes b is a strange place. The food is always just ok. But when they say it's French, it truly isn't. Probably why I just say it's French style and leave it at that. I think that's why I prefer their cafes more. At least I'm not paying 10% for pseudo French. And I much prefer their cakes anyways.
