OK, just needed a place to take a coffee break, found ourselves somewhere in Sheung Wan, a tiny coffee shop caught our eyes, so why not.We ordered the typical Americano Coffee, not bad and not great, very similar to any of the various coffee shops all over HK. Than the "Malt Brulee Latte" caught our attention, ummmm, what would a latte (without coffee) taste like if the topping were to resemble a Creme Brulee, sounded interesting.
The "Malt Brulee Latte" topping was pretty good once it cooled off (as recommended), it did remind us of the topping one would find on a Creme Brulee. The topping was good, however, most of the sugar dissolved into the latte and it was definately on the sweet side. Interesting if you have a sweet tooth.
Will I give Veygo another try, why not? As we just finished lunch, we did not sample their food offerings. The food looked pretty good on the table next to us, I guess it must of being pretty good since the patrons next to us completely finished it all, and the potions looked pretty decent, so I think I will give the food a try next time.
Oh yeah, of course the service was not of the 5-stars hotel variety, I just want to point out that they were very friendly and efficient, just made one very comfortable and relaxed. Service with a smile
