Have not been to this food court for quite awhile. This time came with a surprise. It had been refurbished and transformed into a modern food court with better décor and better seating arrangements. Apart from its renovation, it had also introduced many new shops. That was very good. Some of the previous ones were quite messy and selling low standard food. Now it had upgraded and provided more varieties. Probably that was why that it was quite full when we were there at tea time on weeken
We tried this Ramen shop in Wanchai, the impression was okay but rather expensive. Glad to learn that now it offers afternoon tea set at normal price of below $30 a set. Good. Give it a try for another round.
I ordered a Chasiu Ramen and hubby ordered a deep fried chicken Ramen. We both ordered coke as our drink.
My Chasiu Ramen was very typical Japanese Ramen. Typical in a sense that there was only two pieces of thin pork slices. Despite this, the pork was rather tasty and yummy. The ingredients were corn, some bamboo shoots and some black fungus which went well with the noodles. The noodles were chewy and nice textures, they were Japanese noodles, unlike some local Ramen shops use locally made imitation noodles, which lacks the typical favours of Ramen.
The deep fried chicken Ramen came with two pieces of deep fried chicken. Hubby said the chicken was good. All in all, we were happy with the tea sets and would like to come again.
